Who is responsible for your information
This privacy notice explains how personal information is used in connection with the private practice of Mr Matthew Erritty, Consultant Gynaecologist.
Data Controller:
Matthew Erritty
Practice administration and records:
I use MedServ Ltd to provide medical-secretarial and practice-management services. MedServ processes personal information on behalf of my private practice and provides the systems used by my administrative and secretary team.
Private consultations are provided at Nuffield Health Woking Hospital and The Runnymede Hospital, Chertsey. These hospitals and other healthcare organisations involved in your care may separately act as data controllers for information held within their own systems, in which case their own privacy notices will also apply.
MedServ and my secretary team
My private-practice administration is provided through MedServ Ltd. The MedServ secretary team assists with appointment administration, patient communications, correspondence, billing and other administrative aspects of my practice.
Patient details and practice records are stored within the MedServ practice-management system rather than being maintained through this website.
MedServ processes this information on behalf of my private practice as a data processor. Information provided through an enquiry may therefore be passed to my MedServ secretary team and entered into the MedServ system where this is necessary to respond to your enquiry, arrange an appointment or administer your care.
WhatsApp enquiries
WhatsApp is provided as a convenient route for initial administrative enquiries.
If you contact me using WhatsApp, information required to deal with your enquiry may be passed to my MedServ secretary team and recorded within the MedServ practice-management system so that they can respond to your enquiry or arrange an appointment.
Please avoid sending extensive medical histories, photographs, reports or other highly sensitive information through WhatsApp unless specifically requested.
WhatsApp should not be used for urgent medical problems or for detailed clinical advice. WhatsApp is operated by a third party and its own privacy terms also apply when you use the service.
